What we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
Coco Azul Ltd. Registered in England and Wales, company number 14430098. Registered office: 128 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX. We decide how your information is used, which makes us the “controller” under UK data protection law. Email hello@cocoazul.co.uk with any question about your data.
What we collect
- When you use the contact form: your name, email address, company (if you give it) and your message.
- When you use the chat: the questions you type and the replies. If you press “Send this chat to the team”, also your name and email address.
- When you visit any page: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, briefly processes technical details such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and keep it secure.
This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies and uses no analytics. The chat keeps your conversation in your browser tab so it stays with you as you move between pages. It’s deleted when you close the tab.
Why we use it
We use your contact details to reply to you and, if you ask, to talk about working together. We use the chat to answer your questions about our services. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, or taking steps before entering a contract at your request.
Who else sees it
Cloudflare hosts this website and runs the AI model behind the chat. Resend, an email delivery service, passes form and chat messages to our inbox. Some of these providers process data outside the UK, under the safeguards UK data protection law requires. Our email provider stores the messages we receive. We don’t sell your information or share it for marketing.
The AI chat (Pop)
Pop, the chat on this website, is an AI assistant. Its replies are written by an AI model that Cloudflare runs for this website, and they can be wrong, so check anything important with us. Each question you send, with the conversation so far, goes to Cloudflare to write the reply. We don’t keep chat conversations. We only receive one if you choose to send it to us, and then we treat it like any other message.
Please don’t share passwords, bank details or health information in the chat.
Cloudflare Turnstile checks your browser when you use the contact form or send a chat to us, to confirm you’re not an automated bot.
How long we keep it
We keep messages sent to us for up to 24 months, then delete them, unless they lead to a project. Project records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email us and we’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
